David came back to find everything in Ziklag burned and all of the spoils and families taken away. Even though he was tired and weary he seeked God's will to his problem. He went after what the enemy took and got everything back. What has the enemy tried to take from you? Have you been allowing your guard down to the point that the deception is taking ahold of your thoughts? Go like David and take back what has been taken from you. Know that God will lead you into nothing you can't handle and He will keep you from trouble when you seek His perfect will!

  • Too many times we will allow entertain the thoughts that will separate us from God. Instead we should send the enemy on his way and don't allow him place in your life.
  • Have you stopped to consider if you are a tool for God to use for his glory, or are you a tool for the enemy to use to tear down God's glory?
  • Even when the Levites would pray in the temple, they prayed for the perfect will of God.
  • Where do you seek direction? We need to seek direction from the Word of God
  • Keep a positive attitude and know that God will keep you through your trials. He will never place anything on you that you can not handle
  • When God takes you in a new direction you can be sure that it will be worth it and be a blessing for you.
  • Where would you be today if God chose to throw you aside if you were of no use to him?
  • God's hand is always out for you to grab, but you need to reach out for it.
  • Your first objective is to please God. Don't please try to please man because it is a futile act.
  • Obedience to God is better than sacrifice. David didn't give up on what was taken from him
